So I have Sickle Cell Disease is a children’s book about a girl who has just been cured from sickle cell disease. She starts writing her experience starting with this first of twelve series. Her name is Olana is a twelve-year-old girl who has just been cured from sickle cell disease, a blood disorder that affects the red blood cell. Twelve years ago, Olana was born with sickle cell disease. After multiple complications with disease, she was finally cure from sickle cell disease through a bone marrow transplant. This story is set in a Muslin Community and is written in Arabic.
